Handle on Graco Infant Seat/ Carrier Melting?
Has anyone else had this problem?? I thought it was odd when it happened with the first one and now that it’s happened to a second, it just seems crazy. I do live in Texas where it’s very hot, but still. Am I alone here?
Is there any way to mend it? They are in excellent condition otherwise and would be a good car seat for someone, if not for this problem. They are usable but the handle is sticky, almost as if it melted. All I can think of is tape. Any other ideas?? Thanks
I doubt they are under warranty. Vallie has a new one that this hasn’t happend to (yet). The boys are 2 and 5 years old, it seemed to start happening when they were (both) about 2 years old.
I can’t see how I can be the only person who’s experienced this (twice!). I think I will call Graco. Thanks everyone!
I live in the WONDERFUL texas heat too, and have never encoutered this problem. I honestly think you should call/write the manfacturer and voice your concern. This should not be happening to you or anyone else.
