graco car seat eclipse

Trouble with finding a carseat that fits our coupes, any ideas?

We have an 04 Mustang and 07 Eclipse. We have bought at Britax Roundabout and Graco Aura carseat. Neither car seat fits either car. We are about in panic mode because we are due in just a couple of weeks and cant afford to trade in our car. If anybody has had experience with these car please help us out. THANKYOU
The reason y it isnt fitting is because i cannot put the passenger seat back far enough for another passenger to sit it. I guess I should have listed that in the subheading lol

Ok – so few things –

First – the rear seat of both of these cars – is there no middle seat… right? Or it s a huge hump… correct?

I know the Roundabout you can make fit – but not appropriately for a newborn.

Now the Graco Seat – there is no Graco Aura – what is the name? Its either a Snugride, a Safeseat or a Snugride 32 (or 35).

If it’s a snugride 32, 35 or the Safeseat, its just too big of an infant seat to get in there.

You can use the Graco infant seat without the base – have you tried that?
