How do I get my 7 week old to like his car seat?

ever since he was born I have had a hard time with him in his car seat. He cry’s constantly and doesn’t stop until he is taken out. I have tried to put him in it during the day when we aren’t going anywhere just so he sits in it. He is fine in other chairs though, he sits in his swing ok as well. I am not sure what to do. It is really hard to get anything done with him because I feel guilty for taking him out. please help.
