car seat recommendations
Can anyone recommend a car seat for occasional use (grandparents’ car) for child aged 6 months plus?
We don’t have a car, but did get a travel system with car seat which has been used occasionally. Unfortunately our very large 6 month old has just about outgrown it and I am hoping for some recommendations for a car seat that will mostly used by grandparents (who live some distance from me). I am in the UK, obviously want something very safe, but adaptable without spending too much money and will last for a while without needing replacing too soon. I am usually quite clued up about baby equipment, but not being a driver, don’t have a clue about car seats- happy to purchase online or in store. Thanks!!
If their car has ISOFIX, which most modern cars do, get a JANE indy car seat.
It can be fitted or removed in seconds, will last till your child is around 11 or 12, and looks cool.
cost around £100. a good investment.
