Sound cuts out on car stereo, power stays on?

I have a fold out dvd/cd player stereo in my truck. About a month ago the sound on it started cutting out randomly but the power stays on. If I turn it off and on enough times the sound will come back on only to cut out again after a few minutes. It’s not factory. It’s also hooked to a second screen in the back seat and a six disc changer under the front seat. The CD changer also stopped working not long ago. Any ideas?

You have an over heated PA (Power Amplifier) that is going into Protective Shut Down. Have you fitted lage woofers lately?
As for the CD changer, buy a new one.
