Booster seats requirements?

We just got our first car and I’m wondering what the requirements are for him to ride in a car. He’s 6. It’s been over 6 months since he was weighed and measured so I’m not sure how tall he is or his exact weight.. We live in Canada, so any advice from Canadians would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i have no idea about canadian law, but in the US the child has to be in a booster seat until he/she is 48 inches or can correctly wear a shoulder style seatbelt (same as the adults).

call your local department of transportation (here its the DMV-dept of motor vehicles) they would know
