Car seat and Car Accident Question…?
My husband was involved in a minor vehicle accident this afternoon. He and the other driver are fine and there is minimal damage on either vehicle (under $1000). My kids and their car seats were not in the car at the time, but the bases were. With all the cautions about not getting a used car seat because you don’t know if it’s been in an accident, should I be concerned about them? Do I have to replace them?
It is better to be safe than sorry, If I was in your situation I would replace the bases. Just because they look okay does not mean that the accident did not alter them.
