car seat aircraft

When you fly with a baby . . . . ?
When you fly on a commuter aircraft with a baby does the baby fly for free – do you need to purchase a ticket – if so does the little one get a seat – do they need to be in a child seat like in a car.
Generally speaking, ages 2 and under are free, and can sit on your lap. Car type seats are not required. Again it’s best to check with your airline as they may have a different requirement.
