I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix Gt. Half the lights on my clock don’t work except for at night, the lights?
for climate control don’t light up at night either (both light issues are on the driver side) and my heated seat does not work as well (again on the driver side). The lights will turn on but it does not get hot. I have a feeling it has something to do with a tripped wire somewhere because its all on the same side of the car? Also, when I turned my heater on yesterday it blows out semi warm air, barely warm at all. I feel my car is falling apart! I have a vibration now after I had my tires rotated I think the must have lost a weight! I loved this car but now its a pain someone please help me!
I think you have more than one issue.
Heated seat: because the seat can move back and forth, the wiring can break. Someone (you?) might look under it and find the broken wire — and repair it.
Heater: make sure your engine coolant is filled to the specified level. I don’t know about this car, but on mine there is a transparent plastic reservoir where I can see the level.
Wheel vibration: You may have a worn tire, the effect of which was only revealed when it was moved to a new position.
Clock light: If it’s really just the clock (time of day) that’s not lighting up, just live with it.
