How big is your rear? How many people agree that child car seats should be regulated to a size standard.?

My van won’t hold our family safely. We have a 7 seater and all 5 of my children need carseats according to law, along with my wife and I. Seatbelts are not accesible for safe use, because the carseats cover each others fasteners. Any suggestions beyond the obvious, “new vehicle”. And if it was a new vehicle would the seats be wide enough? Help me please. I have little to money to work with so if anyone knows of an aftermarket something or another…
