for moms who have had clubfoot babies…..car seat trouble.?

My son, who was born with bilateral clubfoot is in his dennis brown bar, and we have the issue of the bar getting wedged in his car seat. Has anybody else gone through this and if so, could recommend a wider car seat? He’s only 2 months old so will be in this seat for a while longer.

You may want to look into a Britax Marathon. They go to 65lbs, and have quite a bit of room on the sides. It is the widest Ive seen for rear facing. If Im remembering correctly, the dennis brown bar goes behind?
Most of the other carseats that Ive seen are pretty narrow in the hip/butt area. Also since it may rub a bit on the carseat, you want one with an easily removed cover to be replaced. Almost any seamstress can make a Britax cover.

Oops, remembered another one! Sunshine Kids makes a carseat called the Radian. It isnt wide, but the sides are shallow, which might help a bit. Both the Radian and Marathon are similar in price and some features.
