Do you have your toddler ride on your bike with you? Maybe you can help me?
I am crazy excited about getting a beach cruiser…I am going to get some exercise and have fun at the same time!
I have a 20 month old son who weighs about 28 pounds and a 4 month old daughter that is about 15 pounds. I will be picking up my cruiser from L.A. in 2 months and want to be able to go for rides with one or both of my kiddos. What set up would you suggest?
The trailers scare me a bit, but if it will let me out of the house then I will just have to get used to it. I really like some of these car seat deals I’ve been seeing. It’s a seat that is over the rear wheel or up front at the handle bars. I suppose you wouldn’t have 2 seats, one in front and one in back…right? That might look a little funky.
What do you do? What would you suggest for me?

Hi. I just installed an iBert seat that goes on top of the handlebars, and I love it. It’s very easy to install, and very easy to balance. My grandson rides in it and he’s 19 months. He loves it – way better than having him behind me someplace. Yes, some people put one seat front and one seat back. I’ve never tried it, but I see no reason it wouldn’t work. Whatever you do, please, please, please put all concerned in a helmet – yourself too. Have fun, and be safe!
