It’s my MIL’s birthday, what should I do!?

My MIL’s birthday is coming up in four weeks. It is eight hours away so we will be flying. I will be 14.5 weeks by then and my niece, whom we are taking will be 12 weeks. I will also be flying with my 26.5 month.

Do you moms have any pointers for traveling pregnant with a small child? What I should bring? Any precautions I should take? Should I take a stroller or an umbrella stroller?

My mistakes it’s 10.5 hours away and it’s a 1 hour 45 min flight with one stop for 30 mins.

Be polite and friendly wth the air hostesses, explain that both you and your neice are pregnant (esp if you are both suffering from nausea and morning sickness and will be requiring the bathroom often. Your 2yr old will be fine traveling, bring plenty of healthy (NOT SUGARY) snacks, and a bag of interesting toys/activities. Bring out the toys one by one so they last the trip. Order headphones for your 2yr old so he can watch the movie or listen to music if he likes.
Take either stroller with you, depending on what you plan on doing at your destination.

Also take any comforters that your child likes (e.g a teddy bear or blanket) to help him sleep if he gets tired at the airport of on the plane. And offer something to chew as the plane ascends and descends – it will prevent ear blocking and pain.
