need help with putting my baby to sleep?

our baby is 6 wks old and in the last 5 to 6 days she won’t sleep in anything but her car seat. i don’t like putting her in there but when she is in there and starts to wake up her head floops around even with a head support. plus i don’t think being in that position all the time is good for her. I have tired to just put her in her crib or pack and play and let her cry it out but hours and i do mean hours later she is still awake.
sry people the swaddle thing does not work for her. From the time she was in the hospital the nurse had to double swaddle and she still got loose. She kicks her legs and gets out. If the nurses who do it everyday could not keep her in it how do you think i am going to

Okay, tricks for sleepy time babies. From a father of five.

Put a pillow under the end of the mattress where baby’s head would be at. It may mimic the tilted feel of the carseat and “fool” baby.

Or

Get a small radio and set it up so that it is a little ways from baby. Let it play very softly so it only comes across as background noise. Baby won’t feel alone and may sleep better. This won’t work once baby starts getting self propelled. The kind of music shouldn’t matter, but be ready to change channels to see if it makes a difference. Sometimes it does.

You may also be dealing with cholic. Upright baby doesn’t suffer it as much. So the pillow trick once again, but also, melt a brachs peppermint candy into water for formula or into pedialyte. The peppermint will help sooth the cholic. Make sure you are burping baby well. You can also use a peppermint stick and put the end (with you holding it) in baby’s mouth so she can suck on it a little. Will still help.
