car seat tall toddler

Hi my son is 7 months and 25 pounds, the recommended weight for my car seat is 20 pounds, do i need a new one?

Should I buy him a new car seat? When do I need to change him to toddler? He’s also very tall.

You defintely have to get him a new one. I got my daughter a toddler seat when she fit the weight range. If you child can sit up perfectly well and he fits the standards for a toddler seat than you can get him one. They have seats that are baby seats until your shild can sit up in a todler seats, it looks almost like a reclining toddler seat but its for babies that are too big for the baby seat but to small for the toddler seat.
