Child car seat question?
Hi we have a car seat for my 16 month old son it was €200 it’s currently in my partners car
but now i have bought a car and i am going to be taking that car seat from my partners car to use in my car so we are going to buy a second car seat to put into my partners car.
my question is do i need to buy another €200 car seat or could i go for a cheaper one?
He will only use it maybe once a week or so.
I no my sons safety is obviously important but it will not be used everyday(im taking the good one for everyday use) and also doesn’t all car seats have to pass a health & safety test before they can be sold so would a cheaper option be ok as a second seat??
There are plenty of safe and comfortable lower priced car seats available. Buy a car seat that is comfortable for your son and that fits well in the car. All car seats are regulated so they are all safe. Some brands are cushier and have more bells and whistles but that is NOT what makes them safe. The important thing is to install and use the car seat correctly….the rest is just for looks.
