Do you think there should be a mandatory test for people before they have children?

They just said on the news, that the police are looking for a small child and they think the mother did something to him (they know, that she tried to give him to a couple of strangers at an airport before). Or what about the couple who tattooed their children. Or the one who left their baby in a car seat and didn’t check on him for over a week… I could go on and on.
When I hear stories like that, I really think there should be a mandatory test for all girls and women capable of getting pregnant, and if they don’t pass they would be implanted with birth control, that would be removed after they passed the test. Not an intelligence test. We’re not all super smart. But common sense and responsibility test.

yeah I have said the same thing almost word for word myself. There is no way this could ever come to be though. It is a sad sad world we live in. I don’t know why women are having babies and keeping them when they are emotionally, mentally and financially unavailable. And I’m not automatically talking about abortion. Birth control is free at the clinic, and there are thousands of childless people praying to have a baby in their arms.
