What can I do to prevent my toddler’s legs from falling asleep in his car seat?

After traveling for more than 20 minutes (especially if he falls asleep), he will start to cry in pain that his legs are hurting. The only thing I can think of is that his legs are going to sleep. Is there any thing I can do to prevent this? Is there a car seat that will keep this from happening?

my son is starting to complain about the same thing, I just took a box and put it under his feet and now he can rest his feet in them and they aren’t dangling, so far it’s helped
