When to take head support out of a car seat?

Just wondering how old a baby usually is when you take the head support out of the car seat. My baby is really tall for her age, 12 weeks, and also can lift her head up by herself & effortlessly holds her head up on her own. Just don’t want to be doing anything too early but she is getting too tall for it though. lol.

I took ours out when she was just under 4 months. She has really good head control.
I probably could have taken it out earlier, but she’s pretty short so she was still fitting in it until then.
I would probably read your manual too…it might tell you in there.
