What do you think is the best mini van?

We are in need of a larger vehicle to accommodate our growing family. We travel quite a bit (about 3 times each month) We need a safe vehicle, not too big but enough room for 2 car seats and a large dog…plus storage. If at all possible we would like to be as environmentally friendly as possible as well. Any suggestions?

I know that everyone else says toyota and honda, and yes they are reliable, but it seems like everyone has one. My favorite (and only minivan I am ever willing to own) is a Mazda5. It’s classified as a wagon but the doors and interior are all mini van. It has the space and gets pretty good gas mileage too.
