Is it possible to install bench seats from different model cars?
I have a 1989 Ford F-250 SuperCab that I would like to switch out the front bench seat on, and I was wondering if it is possible to put in a seat from a different ford model, or even from a different make? And if so, can anyone point me towards a cross-referencing tool for finding which seats are inter-compatible? Thanks!
Hello, I’ve put 2000 Oldsmobile bucket seats in a 1964 Buick Skylark. Have also done and seen other seat swaps without much problem. You will have to get the bracket from the seat that is to be swapped. Then you should just have to drill new holes in your floorboard to install the “new” brackets. Jack
