How to position the car seat?
Quick question. I bought my son a really nice Evenflo Triumph off Craigslist today. My son is only 8 months old and I know that he has to face backwards. My question is.. do I position my son in the middle of the back seat or on one of the sides facing backwards?
I hope you got a good history of the seat and/or know the person who sold it to you since it can be potentially dangerous to use a seat that has been mistreated or in a crash.
As for where you position the car seat, the middle is the safest, but you can put it on the side too. Preferably the driver’s side since you have a better sight line out of that side and the fact that the Triumph is a big seat and makes a big blind spot (IMO) on the passenger side when doing shoulder checks.
