infant car seat expire

Can I use my expired car seat?

My infant car seat expires in December 2010. I bought it new for my daughter 4 1/2 years ago, she used it for about three months and it is currently being used for my son who is six months old. I am due at the end of October and don’t want to buy another infant seat for such a short amount of time. Would it be ok to use it for the new baby a little passed it exp. date?

Would you give your kid milk that’s little passed its expiration date? nah.

It’s a safety issue. If you don’t want to buy another infant car seat, then buy a convertible car seat that will last longer.

LI The top Door County story of 2000 was the deaths of two Sturgeon Bay High School senior girls who were killed when the car they were riding in was struck by a train at a De Pere crossing. The community mourned the deaths of Stephanie Starr and Alaya Serafico by attending services and painting a memorial near Olde Stone Quarry County Park on County B.
