safest booster car seats

Is it safe to put a 3 year old in the front seat of a car with no airbags?

We have three kids and the oldest is 3. We have a small 86 mazda sedan, and 2 kids are in a booster seat, and one in an infant car seat. they are all in the backseat door to door and are continuously trying to pick on each other. Would it be safe and legal to put the oldest in the booster seat in the front seat of the car? The car has no airbags, but i am not sure how safe this would be.

You’d have to check for where you live, but 50 lbs to sit in the front seat is a pretty common law.

Also consider that the majority of accidents will happen while someone is making a left hand turn and the front passenger side door usually doesn’t have as much protection from the axel as the rear doors do. Take a look at your car and decide for yourself though how much of another car could make it into your car if it was hit during a turn though.

My advise would be whoever the most peaceful of the 3 goes in the middle.
