is there a website for all the carseat rules??

my son is 17 pounds and 4 months….he’s fine and healthy. dr said no worries about his weight, so comments about him overeating aren’t necessary (thanks:)

anyway….he will outgrow his infant carseat before he hits 1 year….so, what are all the rules about the car seats so i can figure out what i need to buy in preparation for the 20 pound mark.
no offense to your answers, but i’d rather read the info from a reputable website than take strangers’ words for it!

Okay I was just in a head on colision with two infants in the car I found out you can go to the local highway patrol office or to your insurance agent and they will install the seat for you and make sure it is right for you car they have all the statitics and all the info you need to make the right choice
