What do parents feel the world is obligated to tolerate their children’s poor behavior?

This is a question for you parents out there. Why do the majority of you (at least the majority I have come into contact with) feel everyone else on the planet is obligated to put up with your children’s poor behavior?

Perfect example. My neighbors have three children around ages 8 – 12. They are constantly in my yard, hitting my car with rocks and toys, teasing my dog etc…

When I ask the parents to supervise their children they look at me like I’m satan. “Kids will be kids” and “we can’t watch them 24/7″ are their typical responses. To which I reply “if you can’t control them you shouldn’t have had them.”

I could go on with numerous other examples like kids crying in restaurants, running out of control in stores, talking and kicking the seats in movies etc…

So parents, do you not realize how annoying our little monsters are? Or do you just not care?

it’s not just parents. We were in the Disney store the other day, and I’m telling you, 2 mothers were just letting her kids just clear off the shelves and dump stuff on the floor. I kept waiting for someone in store to say something to one of these parents, but they just kept letting them do it. It’s not just Disney, it’s stores all over. Kids run all over the place, throwing merchandise around, and nobody cares. Parents, managers. I got spanked when I did something like that, and you know what? I never did it again. Kids keep doing it, because people keep letting them.

Taking care of our babies has been made easy because of the help of technology. There are so many baby care equipments available in the market right now to help us in looking after our babies especially at night. Things like walkie-talkie placed close to the baby; let us know if our baby is crying even when we are at the next room.

This equipment however is optional, though very helpful as we can attend our baby’s need as soon as we know they are crying. However, there are some common things that we should know and have to be able to take care of our baby effectively. Things like baby furniture let our baby have a sound sleep while assuring us that nothing bad will happen to our babies while we are asleep too.

There are some tips regarding the use of furniture for your baby to effectively keep our baby safe. It is really important to know these especially if we can’t watch for our baby 24/7.

The placement of your furniture contributes greatly to the safety of your baby. Safe spots can help reduce the risk or even prevent accidents and injuries significantly.Place your baby furniture like the crib, into a safe place where your baby can will not stumble and fall from the crib. Cribs should never be placed beside a heavy furniture or low window, as babies learning to stand and walk will surely explore its options inside his or her crib.

Your baby should be always away from big and heavy furniture, as it can crush your baby if it accidentally topples. Your baby’s high chair should not be put beside walls or counters, as babies might kick the wall and will cause the high chair to topple.

Your furniture for your baby must have knobs and latches that are impossible for the baby to turn. High chair for example, should have strap locks that are hard for babies to unlock.

Consider the age and weight of your baby when purchasing baby furniture. Purchase only durable furniture that will last for longer use.
