One year old HATES car seat. What can I do?

Our one year old has been in the same car seat since she was 7 months old. I know we shouldn’t, be we turned it around to face front last month. Since, she’s been much happier in it. But in the last 2-3 days, whenever I put her in, she screams and arches her back and just makes it impossible for me to put her in there.
I checked it thoroughly and there is nothing that is hurting her when I put her in.
After I struggle to get her in, she just cries and cries. As soon as I start driving, she’s quiet and enjoys the drive. She talks to herself and her toys and has a great time.
I don’t understand why she just hates the process of being put in there. I’m getting very frustrated with this because it is such a hassle to go anywhere. And I only go somewhere 2-3 times a week, so it’s not like she’s sick of being out and about.
Any ideas of what could be wrong? Any ideas on what I can do?

It is a phase………just be strong and thankful she doesn’t cry the whole time she is in the car. Once she realizes her fits don’t make a difference she will stop.
