Best time to travel through europe (italy, france and switzerland).?
-will be taking and individual trip, not with a group.
-will be travelling with a 3yr old child.
-do the hotels(4 star) there allow to set up sterelising unit for feeding bottles.
-should we carry along a car seat, or one is easily available on rent?
-this would be our first trip to europe..advise on some must see places and best street side cafes/eateries.
-we are planning a 10 days holiday.
-share some tips on travelling with a toddler. (since his birth we have traveled 6 times to our home country and 9-10 hours travel time is the longest time we have travelled with him .{.2 hrs on road, then 1 hr at airport then another 4 hrs on airplane..then another 2 hrs on road}.
He has been a non-fussy kid so far…but i know kids can be unpredictable. So please share some tips.
10 day holiday? You have to choose otherwise you spend your time travelling. You have to decide which kind of holiday you want sand ans sea or skying and snow? For travelling yes, you can easily find child seat chen you rent the car, be sure that your document and insurance are valid chen you cross the borders, especially for Switzerland which is not part of European Union.
So first decide in France do you want to go in the north and Paris or you want to go in the south, Nice, Montecarlo etc…
In Switzerland you can go to lake of Geneva, close to the french border. I advice you that travelling in those areas during the winter it’s very cold.
For the south of France avoid the months of July and August (too expensive and too many people).
In Italy where do you want to go? From Sicily to extreme north there are more than 1600 km.
