at what age did you turn your childs car seat around?
Brayden is only 10 months old, but his legs are starting to hit the back of the seat. Florida doesn’t mandate that children are in a rear facing car seat until the age of 1, or 20 pounds, so I can turn him whenever… I was just wondering when other parents turned their childrens car seats around.
Grahams Mama- I was looking at other links, I guess that’s the more official link. My question- What do I do if he’s not 20 pounds, or 1, but his legs need to be bent if he’s rear facing?
I did it 2 weeks before her first birthday. Yes it’s safer rear facing as long as possible, yes they can still sit backwards when their feet touch the seat, yes I switched it anyway.
We had been in a car accident a week before and I had to buy a new seat anyway. The new bigger seat fit better forward facing that rear (small car)
