NEED HELP What is the best car seat and a model for the baby? In your opinion, and best worest?

I go to the store and I overwelhed I thought maybe the Graco SafeSeat, anyone have one of those, do not last more than a year? I do not know what to buy

Graco and I love except for one thing …. The infant seat was stored in my attic for about two years and when I pull it out, I found that the handle had melted. I guess it was Texas heat, but I was very disappointed. They have no spare parts for the handle so I had to buy a seat for every newborn. Of course, they no longer have the same pattern as that does not match my stroller, play n charge, and the swing. Do not store in the heat if you get a Graco!
