car seat aircraft use

Flying for the first time?
My husband and I have decided to fly from STL Missouri to Orlando Florida with our three children. Ages 4,6,8. We have never flown before and I have a few questions. All three of my children ride in car seats. The two older ones ride in booster seats and my third a normal carseat. The booster seats say not for use in planes but my youngest says can be used in aircraft. Now my questions.
1. Do I have to check the two booster seats or can they be carried onto the plane.
2. I was going to have my 6&8 year olds use the airplane seat belts and my 4 year old use her car seat. Is this safe. My 4 year old weighs 30 lbs my six year old is 42 lbs and 8 year old is 50 lbs.
3. How much will it cost if I have to check in the booster seats.
4. Should I have my children chew on gum during the plane ride.
5. Will our seats on the plane be by each other. I know we wont all be able to set togather but we were hoping that one child could set with me one with my husband and one with grandparent.
Check in the booster seats, no additional charge. Put the youngest in a car seat, it will buckle in to the plane’s seat. Chewing gum works for the change in cabin pressure. Make sure you check in at least 2 hours earlier if not sooner. Many people wait til check in for seat assignment. If you get there early, you can likely get seats together. Benadryl works great for knocking your lil ones out prior to the flight. It will sedate them for a couple hours. Just give them the appropriate dosage.

The flag, the prayer, the salute. Each dead service member receives the same solemn respect at Delaware Air Force base.
