[Driving to LA from Oregon] Is it necessary to have air conditioned car?
I’m thinking to go to LA from Oregon and it’ll be the first long distance driving. I can borrow this volkswagon bas that has 7 seats. But it doesn’t have an air conditioner. In area I live in, not having air conditioner isn’t big deal. As long as you open the windows, it’s fine.
But I’ve heard that you should have air conditionered car if you go to california. Maybe they are talking about Free way where you can’t open the window?
well LOL. that’s up to you to decide, if you are traveling with seven people and ecah sharign the cost of gas you could probably do it for about $100 each person.
once you hit grants pass it averages 10 degrees hotter there this time of year than in portland, then once you had redding and sacramento, frenso, tack on another few degrees.
