Where can I find a replacement seat for a rare colored toliet?
My grandmother has a maroon colored toilet. Her house is over 30 years old. My cousin broke her toilet seat. My grandma looked in all the hardware and bath fixture stores. No local store carries that color toilet seat. Is there somewhere that sell rare color toilet seats?
colors vary so much, even if you find one on line or in the store that looks right, by the time you get it home odds are it’ll be a shade off. Unless the manufacturer can spec it for you ( I doubt it), you are better off contrasting the toilet seat, instead of matching it. A light oak wooden seat always goes, even a fuzzy seat cover could help, the only time the cover would be up is when your grandmother can’t see the seat.
or get close, and put a lower watt bulb in the bathroom.
