Question for moms with 3 in 1 type carseats for their babies:?
I’m wondering what other Moms do with their babies (5 months and under) who use a 3-in-1 type car seat, and need to go out to the store for something? Where do you put your baby? How do you take your baby around?
I’m currently using a rear-facing infant car seat, but will need to transfer her to the 3-in-1 soon because the straps on the infant seat are not long enough to do up when her snowsuit is on.
But I can’t figure out how I am going to bring her with me, if I do not have something to carry her in until she is old enough to sit up on her own. And lugging a big stroller in and out of the trunk in awful weather, with 10 bags of groceries, through snow does not seem like a reasonable choice to me.
I did try putting her in a snuggli and Mei Tai, but those get heavy after a while, especially if your hands are full.
So, how do you do it?
Does anybody have any suggestions?
I used a front carrier and now that he is bigger 20 pds i use a hip carrier so it doesn’t put as much weight on my back and shoulders. sometimes my son will sit in the buggy strapped in but alot of times he just wants to be carried
