Baby Car Seat – Volvo S60 vs. Volvo S80?
I am thinking about purchasing a Volvo S60 or a Volvo S80 – both from the 2002-2004 model years. I prefer the S60 because I think it drives better. However, I need to be able to have a baby car seat in the center of the rear seat, and I would like to still have enough space to seat 4 adults. Does anyone have experience with a car seat in an S60, and if so, would you recommend it, or would you suggest the larger S80? I prefer the S60, but if a car seat is not manageable in this vehicle, it’s a deal breaker for me and I will buy an S80. Thanks!

Keep in mind that it is not a full listing of what will work in either vehicle, the info is only posted by people who take the time to go and post what they’v ehad in their cars. But it looks like people have had car seats in both cars.
Most vehicles can fit a car seat. A car seat tech on the forum I subscribe to has even gotten a rear facing Britax Marathon into a Porsche 911. 
So, pick a car, likely you can find something to fit, and the Marathon is *almost* universal, fitting pretty much every vehicle its tried in. One thing worthy of noting, however, is that it does NOT have to be in the center. Yes, center provides the most protection from side impact crashes, however, in many vehicles, car seats do not fit well in center rear positions. Also, in most cars, you can not use LATCH in the middle, only on the sides. The safest position for a car seat is where it fits best. If it fits equally well in all positions, then center is best.
