No more mess with the ‘no-spill’ dog dish
As a car owner, I’m sure you like to keep your car clean and mess free. As a dog owner, it’s important to keep your dog comfortable while travelling. If you’re trying to maintain cleanliness in the car with your furry companion, then I have a few suggestions that may be useful.
Covering the upholstery in the car will prevent most dirt from getting onto the seats when the dog comes back into the car. All you have to do is bring some large towels with you and make sure (if you can), that you tuck the towels into the seat somewhere to avoid the towel from bunching up. To ensure that your dog is comfortable while travelling, you may find it is useful to bring his/her favorite toy to chew on. It doesn’t have to be a bone, just anything that you know will calm your dog down. My dog will sit for a long time while she chews on a bone, which is great when we are in the car because she’s not bouncing around in the driver’s seat. Remember, when your dog is calm, the chances of having a mess decrease. It is also safer to drive when your dog is relaxed as well.
Most importantly, make sure that your dog has plenty of food and water available. The best thing that you could get your dog (and yourself) is a no spill dog dish. Its ideal for travelling because it fits right into the cupholder and it has a spill resistant rim. I love this dish because it’s made travelling easier. My dog has exactly what she needs at her deposal, and I feel far more relaxed in knowing that she’s good to go.

Walking stick musings
At one time, my walking stick was my stalwart companion. Though I seldom carried it while walking with Vernon, whenever I walked, I wished I had bothered to bring it along. The only reason I didn’t, was because it often got tangled in Vernon’s long leash.
