What age should a toddler move from a car seat to a booster type?
I really don’t remember this from my first child! My son is 2 and he keeps managing to get out of the regular baby car seat. But he sits perfectly still in his sisters booster. You think its too soon, or he’s too small to move up to his own booster ( the ones with a back and a thing for the shoulder strap)??
Thanks, I did buy him one earlier and it says from 30 lbs +. Which he is, he’s just a little bit on the short side is why I was wondering. **And the reason I am trying to switch is because I don’t want him flying through a windshield, obviously!**

NO NO NO – the advice being given to you is ALL WRONG you should try and have your toddler in a 5 pt harness for as long as possible they are the SAFEST option. Do a youtube search on Kyle Miller, its a story of a beautiful 3 year old boy who was killed in a booster seat – Noone ever tells you that SEATBELTS FAIL QUITE OFTEN in accidents and the booster and child end up being ejected from the vehicle.
