What is the best convertible carseat?

Our son is 6 months old and just hit 20 lbs. He is too long for his current Peg Perego infant seat, which maxes out at 22 lbs. anyway. We got a Britax Marathon carseat as a shower gift, but we need to purchase 1 more for my husband’s car. Anyone have a favorite? There are so many to choose from. thanks!
