Has anyone heard of Britax falling over and hitting front seat in accident?

A friend’s daughter was seriously injured this week when the Britax toppled over and hit the front seat when she was in a bad car accident. This was a Britax WITHOUT the top tether. A couple of neurosurgeon’s told her the Peg Peregos are much safer because they also have the top tether. We have a Britax but I have a hard time understanding how it can topple over if it is properly connected with the latch system….

That sounds like an installation issue, not a carseat issue.

We have a Marathon and a Regent, and both of them have a top tether.
