What reasons can they use to keep my baby after i have him?
I just asked a nurse and she said if he tested positive for drugs, didnt have a car seat, or there wasnt a bond, or isnt healthy
anybody else know anymore stupid reasons
and she totally judged me when she asked me who was going to be there with me i said no one because i choose for this to be very personal and then she was more nosey and said who is going to be home with you after you have the baby and i know several times my obgyn asked me how do you plan to afford the baby i mean can any of this keep me from taking him home?
the bond thing came from a L&D nurse
I think by bond, they may mean if you are showing signs of PPD. I will say though, having no one at home with you afterwards may cause issues. I don’t know for sure, but I know they were really firm about asking me repeatedly if anyone was going to home with me for the first week or so. But other than that, I don’t think any of that really constitutes them keeping your baby.
