car seat travel cases
I am beginning to think is this really wise?
Hiya guys im 33 weeks pregnant in 2 days and myself and my husband will be travelling down to see my father in law when I will be 35 weeks pregnant !!! we will be travelling from Birmingham in the Midlands to Devon which is a couple of hours each way in the car and will also be stopping the night!
My questions are :
1) what can I do to make myself comfortable for the drive down to devon and back bearing in mind I am extremely large now lol ??
2) should I have my hospital bag and hospital notes ready to take with me and also the babies car seat just in case???
3) if anything does happen am I able to go to any UK hospital to give birth?
4) I have had some people voice concern as to whether I should be taking this trip at all would you go ??

If you have had a healthy pregnancy up until now the chance of some unforeseen emergency is very little. You can give birth in any NHS hospital. Giving birth is classed as an emergency. take a pillow and some drinks or food, whatever you fancy and have frequent stops to stretch your legs and go to the loo! good idea to take your notes just in case.
