How can I travel in London black cabs with 9 month twins?

I am currently in London with my twin babies. We would like to be able to use London cabs for a few excursions. I currently have an inline (tandem) buggy on which I use the car seats. Would a cab take a collapsed buggy with two car seats? I was advised that it might be better to buy two single strollers as these can be wheeled on as they are, with baby onboard in certain adapted cabs.

There’s ample room in London taxi’s, both in the front (luggage compartment) and in the rear seating area.

Two versions of the taxis in London take six people, these are the new metro cab (square one’s) and the even newer Mercedes Vito’s.

No need to book or make phone calls, just look for a cab with it’s Light on, and flag it down.
