Crib,Car seat, nursery sets: How much overall you spend?

25 weeks, expecting a girl and started to looking around for shopping. I visited babies r us and walmart stores just to get idea how much it overall costs. I find things pretty expensive. Here is my lists

walmart has several car seats with the stroller for less than 200$ they have 24 really nice ones that range from $120-$200
cribs- walmart has about 50 cribs that range from $120-$200
a mattress- walmart has mattresses that range anywhere from $40-$400
bedding and decor- for the 4 piece set comforter, crib sheet, crib skirt and bumper pad.6 piece set duvet, bumper, crib ruffle, valance, diaper stacker and crib sheet you are looking at $50-$200
target is another place that can be comparable to walmart, but they have a lot of Eddie Bauer stuff that cost more.
you can get baby monitors for $10-$75
You can get the accessories lamp, mobile, wall decor, accent rug, extra crib sheets, blankets
these are all things that you can register for pick out the specific things that you want and then when you have a baby shower, put where you are registered and what you plan to decorate in. for example if you are having a girl and you pick princess bedding. let them know that or a boy and you pick teddy bear. that way even if they do not get you something off your registry, maybe they will get you something else that would match the room!
i see a lot of people saying craigslist. that is fine i sold my baby stuff on there, but it was in perfect condition. some people sell there stuff and it is stained, or just ugly, and sometimes you do not know what you are getting until you get to their house and then your like oh, sorry i do not want it. some people just think that their stuff is in good or great condition when in fact it is not. but if you are not into ebay, then you probably would not like craigslist.
