Would you – as a parent – be annoyed at this?
So i was checking out at wal-mart early this a.m.
I had my 5m/o in her car seat on top of the shopping cart.
So, i’m putting my bags in the cart and i see this woman behind me dive for the car seat, reach her hands inside and pull my babies blanket down.
I’m looking at her like what the hell? She said “the blanket was covering her face, that’s just wrong” i said it wasen’t covering her face, she likes to snuggle deep between her blanky (bear in mind ya’ll it was about 50o in there) This woman leaned in again because my baby was babbling and i pulled the cart infront of me and of course she got offended, she said “babies die from blankets being on their face” i said, my daughter pulls the blanket up herself, she’s not smothered, it’s a light blanket – thank you very much!”
In all honesty, you know you, what would you have done. This is the 1st time this has ever happened and i hate strangers touching my kids. My baby was just fine, i have 3 kids, this ain’t my first rodeo lol
Um….WHAT? A stranger had the cojones to reach inside your car & touch your child??? How you didn’t break her wrist is beyond me. I’d have told her point blank that if she didn’t get away from the vehicle immediately I’d call the cops on her for harrassment.
WHO THE HELL BEHAVES THAT WAY? Omigod! What would make her think it’s remotely acceptable to do that????? Wow…just….wow.
