1 year old strangled to death by car seat?
I live in Ohio and on the news last weekend was a story about a mother who strapped her daughter into the car seat, but she only latched the chest part, not the part between the legs. She then left the room for what she said was 4 minutes. When she came back into the room the baby had slid down in the carseat and strangled to death.
Have you ever not strapped your child in completely? I can’t remember exactly but I think I might have when my son was a newborn and I wasn’t ready to leave, I thought I was making him more comfortable not strapping him in completely, I never imagine something like this happening!
