How to selectively electrowon gold and silver from a cyanide liquor with other base metals such as copper, etc
I have a problem setting the correct parameters (current and voltages of rectifiers, flow, pH of soln, conductivity, etc.) to selectively deposit gold metals into the steel wool cathodes in our electrowinning process with an electrolyte containing considerable amount of copper and other base metals (Cu,Zn,Pb,Ni,etc, etc…). Also, how could I get rid the copper during smelting process?
