WOW, anyone have problem with heated car seats?
have new car w/ heated seats. Yesterday pout on low setting, was wearing green vesttype jacket, about 3 yrs old, when got to work, color was off back of jacket, was turned white!!! WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS??? Now wonder about it happening with really good dress clothes!! Anyone ehar anything about this, called dealer, think am mistaken, ok , but not!! PLEASE, only from those with real ideas?
WEIRD, as also took out dark color green from where seatbeat ws across shoulder, as well as the back of this vestjacket. Dealer has no idea, but want to check if working right, until find out not using when wear good clothes, suppose was good expensive outfit?? It is not cheap auto. Very upsetting, as no warnings as to waht fabric can happen to, so now fellow workers leery of using their seat heaters.
plus if exposure to heat did this, then why not happen when was in dryer???
It is entirely possible that the fibers that compose your jacket simply experienced accelerated decomposition from the localized exposure to heat. That is about the only thing I could come up with.
