car seat height law

car seat height law
Which Newtons law are these situations?

Law 1,2, or 3?
6.Seatbelts can hold you in your seat in the event of an accident.
7.An elephant dropped from the top of a building will have a greater force when it hits the ground than a feather dropped from the same height.
8.If a big truck and a little car hit head-on, the little car will suffer greatly. B
9.I let the air out of a balloon, and the balloon shoots across the room.
10.I can toss a baseball, but I have some difficulty tossing a small bus.

6. Law 1. If it were not for the tension force from the seatbelt, your body would attempt to continue to travel at the velocity of the car prior to the crash. This is an example of Newton’s 1st law.

7. Law 2. If both objects endure the same upward acceleration during the impact with the ground, the net force required to cause this impact is proportional to the object’s mass.

8. Well, both Law 2 and Law 3 apply. An equal and opposite force of collision is applied to both cars by the other car, as per law 3. The consequence is that the little car accelerates a lot, but the big car accelerates a little, resulting in a much larger change in velocity for the little car, and much more whiplash for its passengers.

9. Law 3. The balloon applies a force to the jet of air. The jet of air applies an equal and opposite force to the balloon, causing it to shoot across the room.

10. Law 2. The bus has much more mass, and therefore is much more difficult to give it an acceleration within your hand.

Portland cocaine kingpin sentenced to 13 years for running drug distribution operation out of Yam Yam’s barbecue
James Ray “Lonnie” Yoakum, 58, was the brains behind a lucrative cocaine-dealing operation that gang investigators say used a well-known Northeast Portland barbecue restaurant as a front to launder the drug money and sold about 10 kilograms, or $300,000 worth, of cocaine a month.
