Car video toy for 3 year old on long drive in car? Ideas?
I’m the technology deficient grandma taking 3 year old grandson on three 8 hours drives in the next week or two. I have heard there are some sort of lap video games (big buttons?) or things to hang on the seat in front of them to watch videos — I don’t know. I live in the country, 2 hours from any technology store of any type so I’m counting on someone being VERY specific about what to buy fast when we pass a Radio Shack or something. THANKS !!!!!
For pete’s sake, are all of you who suggest I entertain him non-working moms? I’m a hardworking grandma. I myself love to read a book on long drives. Why can’t toddler watch a DVD?
I am personally exhausted and would rather save my energy for fun with child.
Yes we’ll stop to stretch and walk and play lots of car games too. So quit the judgement. Thanks for more suggestions of carefree car entertainment. I would love more product ideas.
you can order a portable dvd player from walmart.com or stop by your locat walmart…they have some that attach to the seat in front or they have some he can hold in his lap
im sure radio shack will have them as well… just remember to pack some dvds 
**EDIT** I see you updated some notes so I thought I would put my 2cents in…I am a SAHM that is why I suggest the DVD player….I need a break on long car rides…Im w/ my kids all day everyday.. Enjoy your trip!!
